Direct approach to the companies through emails: look at http://www.yellowpages.ie/ – find the area of your interest, find all companies that are stated under list and go through their web sites asking for job. You also can call directly to the company asking HR person to help you with the search, or even to stop by the company, giving them your CV. Email with CV to all recruiting agencies in your city. It is use to be that head hunters were after people, now it is all the way around. The best way is to send your CV to as many recruiting companies as possible, and then call – trying to talk with somebody in regards of jobs. It happened to me when I was trying to make a call back to one of the recruiters I sent CV to, they said- “we got your CV in case of opportunity we call you back”. Still most of the recruiters were more friendly and at least talked to me over the phone.
