The best internet search for job

Thinking about job I found very helpful web sites that are not very job oriented by nature, but may be very efficient in the sense of getting experience and understanding of a country.

Like for example almost every country has separate web site for its citizen in Ireland. I hope it sounds more or less understandable. I mean web sites that help you, as a foreigner to get around in Ireland. Virtualireland.ie – would be web site for all Russian speaking people, Vivoirlanda.com - would be for Spanish and so on. Usually those web sites/chats have topics about work, where you can post your comment “I am looking for a job, pls help”. It would not bring immediate effect, but take time and just make sure you are checking your email on regular basics not to miss out opportunity. When I posted my ad on one of this web sites, honestly saying I completely forgot about it, since did not have enough fate in it. Although after a month I got couple proposals for job. Some of them were like baby seating (which I was not very interested in) still others were office based work.

You never know where you can find good people who can help you. Just make sure as many people as possible know about your problem – and solution will find you :)

I also was trying to find job through adverts on gum three and adverts.ie. I know it sounds a bit weird, since it is not job search web sites. I did found some decent proposal and different job opportunities, honestly saying none of them turned out for positive experience for me, so I stopped checking them. But, you never know…

Tips for earning money while being redundant

There is a lot of example how people became reach trying to cope with redundancy.
Just follow your passion they say :)

Here is a story who made his million on online business:

A few of months ago (beginning of 2009) I received notification that I was to be made redundant from my manager of sales position. Trust me – I don’t want your sympathy because I was overjoyed.
really wanted to have my own business – I just wasn’t sure what it would be.

One day, it dawned upon me that what I really needed was an internet based business. Many years ago, a friend of mine had become a millionaire by owning the rights to some fairy tale that he sold online. Basically he spent his day playing with the cat, sitting on the couch and watching his bank balance grow.

If you have ever worked 14 hour days per day, you’ll know that you can’t keep it up for long. I decided that I would see the financial year out at the day job so as to get my commission, and then resign so that I could concentrate on my own business. I wasn’t really looking forward to explaining why I had decided to move on but the recession gave me a helping hand and the company decided to make me redundant anyway. Frankly I couldn’t leave fast enough because 14hr days were not fun, and by then I had completely lost interest in the day job.

If you haven’t yet considered an online marketing business with very low start-up costs, full mentoring and amazing team community support, then visit

4 best ways for job search in internet

Sending CVs through internet. It is one of the simplest ways to send a CVs since minimum and more routine work is required. Where you want to start to send your CV?

Internet web sites that specifies on job search: http://www.jobs.ie/, http://www.irishjobs.ie/, http://www.monster.ie/, http://www.fas.ie/…….

Direct approach to the companies through emails: look at http://www.yellowpages.ie/ – find the area of your interest, find all companies that are stated under list and go through their web sites asking for job. You also can call directly to the company asking HR person to help you with the search, or even to stop by the company, giving them your CV. Unfortunately, due to the crisis, companies are more closed for conversations. Still it is a good chance to let them know about you. Usually if it is big company, they will take your CV into archive, and as soon as they would have some opportunity, they will let you know about it. It happened with me when one of the IT companies came back after a month, asking if I am still available for job opportunity in their company.

Specified web sites for the area of your interest such as:
http://www.fsi.ie (finance companies), http://www.businessworld.ie/cd/Top1000/index.htm (100 best companies), http://www.eastpoint.ie/move/map2.htm (business parks) and on and on...

Email with CV to all recruiting agencies in your city. It is use to be that head hunters were after people, now it is all the way around. The best way is to send your CV to as many recruiting companies as possible, and then call – trying to talk with somebody in regards of jobs. It happened to me when I was trying to make a call back to one of the recruiters I sent CV to, they said- “we got your CV in case of opportunity we call you back”. Still most of the recruiters were more friendly and at least talked to me over the phone.

Selling your CV

Nobody said it is going to be easy, but that is not an excuse to give up! It is not you who cannot find job that easily, it is the whole world straggling and going through the same experience as you do.
First of all you should understand – there is nothing wrong with you! Your skills and experience can suit most of the jobs available, and you will find a job when it is right time and right place. Before that happens you want to make sure that you tried as many ways of selling your CV as possible. My previous director said that if you work hard it takes 3 month to find first client. I tasted that theory many time, it doesn’t matter what you sell (tables, your CV, or other) it takes 3 (in this condition, maybe up to 5) months of search and you will get wanted result. Prepare to wait and be patience, in the same time be innovative and hard working. If you are looking for a job without any particular success for already 2 month, that means you will find job soon!
